Have had the battery checked and all voltages are fine standing charge and running charge and charge from alternator. I don't have access to a oscilloscope, so have used a multimeter to do a resistance test

Reading through other owner's issues I see C-MAX has had lots of problems over the years (power steering, radio, battery, etc) - they all seem to have the common issue of "battery drain." All of you that have the hybrid battery/engine fords need to do some homework. Our C-max is in the Ford shop at this moment for the "required testing" ($150.00 !!) to determine the status of the battery. These batteries have a 100,000 mile "special" warranty. The typical answer from Ford is 8,800 mile warranty and $13,000. please . . . . .
